From Artfully Wed... This styled shoot from April and Paul and Lovegood Wedding & Event Rentals depicts the love story between a Leo and an Aries. Jaclyn wore a navy lace dress to complement the rich gold and navy décor. Lauren at Lovegood made the constellation zodiacs herself, and I think the theme is absolutely dreamy!

We lucked upon some amazing vendors for details when it came to this shoot. Laura from Marked is not only talented with flowers, but she creates amazing invitation suites for weddings. Her attention to detail was on point for this constellation suite. Another invitation company, Umama, was able to give us a different look with modern fonts and paint strokes for the menu, invitation, and other amazing paper goods. Providence Vintage Jewelry provided us with a BEAUTIFUL sapphire ring to play with the night sky surrounded by tiny diamonds to represent the stars. Minty Wares sent us custom made bowls for detail shoots all the way from Australia to Mississippi, and they were beautiful.

For the cake, we wanted to play with the color navy. So, of course, Hill Street Bakery made a blue velvet naked cake with cream cheese icing to top it off. Blooms provided flowers to add more color to this sweet treat, and Lovegood found the perfect lion for the top of the cake for an added detail. We matched it with a antique gold cake stand. We are always on the lookout for amazing find for the Lovegood collection. One day, we headed to an estate sale and lucked upon a 12 piece glass cup set of zodiac symbols. Of course I had this shoot already in my mind so it was a done deal. We paired them with our gold leafed nesting tables and a drink decanter filled with ‘Star Crossed Lovers’ drink.

For the tablescape we wanted to stay simple with gold chargers, white plates, and fancy gold flat wear from our collection. We ran a navy table runner and paired the table from Rasberry Greene with our mix and match folding chairs. We added color by bringing in the blue velvet cake and flower arrangements by Blooms.
