Featured on Glamour and Grace and Aisle Society. Here are some sweet words from the G&G team and the photographers over at Starling & Sage, "Effortlessly blending heirloom details into their own relaxed boho style, this New Orleans wedding captured by Starling and Sage is sure to inspire! The old greenhouse that served as backdrop to their ceremony and reception is utterly romantic and set the stage for a stunning event!"
"Our wedding was meant to be this relaxed atmosphere, with special, custom features to really make it feel exquisite. The colors and textures were very eclectic, but not necessarily rustic. A dusty aqua color, lots of mixed metallics, and shimmery highlights like our weeping-willow looking chandelier… these were all meat to be soft elements to our wedding. If I had to call it something it would be, “Easy, Breezy, Bohemian in the Big Easy.” - Bride

"For our attire it was all about mixing and matching golds and blues. The Silver and Gold Lillian West gown with the charmuse lining and Chantilly lace, made my whole dreams come true, about being a comfortable bride. We wanted to let our bridesmaids choose which style of dress they wanted to wear, one of our girls decided she didn’t want to wear shoes, and that was absolutely beautiful to me. It was so important for us to include the different personalities of each of our bridal party members. Fun cat socks for the groomsmen, and mixed metallic headbands for the bridesmaids were some of the little touches that truly made the whole look." - Bride
"When we got this wedding planner gift from his mother, (which I totally recommend by the way), there was this section for both of us to write down what was truly important to us. We wrote: Relaxed, New Orleans, Evening, and on Budget. Even though we might have gone a little bit overboard on the budget, ha, we definitely stood by our decisions. One of the things we splurged on was a Harpist. It was really important that we had some type of authentic music during our ceremony, so one of our bridesmaids played violin alongside the Harpist we hired. Totally worth every dime. " - Bride
